You were told to live with it
That is the sentence most people come home with. The tests come back clean, the appointment ends, and you are handed nothing to do about it. That is the part nobody warns you about — not the sound itself, but the nothing to do.
RingEase Air is something to do. Eight minutes an evening, in your own chair, with a device that has exactly one button on it. That is the whole commitment.
Hook it on. Press once. Eight minutes.
1 · Hook it on — over the top of your ear, like an old phone headset. Nothing goes deep into the ear.
2 · Press the button — the only button. An eight-minute timer starts and counts down on the device: 8, 7, 6…
3 · Switch ears — flip the hook and do the other side. With the pair, both ears run at once and you are finished in eight minutes.
RingEase Air vs. the other ear lasers
Most of them still hang a control box around your neck and run a cable up to your ear, with a row of buttons to work out first. RingEase Air is the whole device: one piece, one button, no cable, no box.

Eight minutes, then it stops
There is nothing to remember to switch off and no routine to build your evening around. You press it once while the kettle boils, it counts itself down, and it stops. That is the reason people keep doing it — there is nothing to keep up with.
Wireless, and it stays that way
Nothing plugs in while you use it. It charges by cable between sessions — no batteries to buy, ever — and it is small enough to live in the drawer beside your chair. Black, plain, nothing blinking at you. It looks like something you would own rather than something you would hide.
Questions, answered
What exactly is it?
What exactly is it?
A small red-light device you hook over your ear, the way you would wear an old phone headset. It runs 650nm red light for eight minutes and switches itself off. One button, no app, no Bluetooth, nothing to pair.
How is it different from the other ear lasers?
How is it different from the other ear lasers?
Most of them are a control box on a neck strap with a cable running up to your ear and several buttons to learn first. RingEase Air is one piece with one button. Press it, and the eight-minute countdown runs on the device itself.
How long does a session take?
How long does a session take?
Eight minutes per ear. With one device you do one side, flip the hook and do the other — sixteen minutes in all. With the pair you wear one on each ear and you are finished in eight.
What is included?
What is included?
The RingEase Air device, a charging cable and a printed start guide. Plus the 100-night program — a web page you open on a computer or a phone, with a short routine for each evening. Nothing to install, and no subscription.
Is it really drug-free?
Is it really drug-free?
Completely. Nothing to swallow, nothing to apply, nothing habit-forming and nothing that leaves you groggy in the morning. It is light and a timer.
Do I need my phone or an app?
Do I need my phone or an app?
No. There is no app and no Bluetooth — the device works on its own with its one button. The 100-night program that comes with it opens in an ordinary web browser on a computer or a phone. Nothing to install, nothing to pair.
Can I hurt myself with it?
Can I hurt myself with it?
No. Nothing is pushed deep into your ear and there is no setting to get wrong — one button, eight minutes, and it stops on its own.
Will it be uncomfortable?
Will it be uncomfortable?
It is a light hook that rests over the top of your ear, the way a phone headset does. And you wear it for eight minutes sitting down — not all night.
I have tried a lot of things already. Why would this be different?
I have tried a lot of things already. Why would this be different?
Because it asks almost nothing of you. Most things people try have to be remembered daily, worn all night, or booked weeks in advance. This is eight minutes in your chair with a device that has one button — and the 100-night program that comes with it gives you something to do on the other evenings too.
Do I need an appointment or a prescription?
Do I need an appointment or a prescription?
Neither. It is yours, you use it at home, and nobody has to sign off on it first. That is most of the point — you do not have to wait on a referral to start this evening.
